Here’s something fun I found in the most unlikely of places:

Fender guitars are an American icon, and are/were played by some of the best guitarists of all time. What most people don’t think about is the amount of skill and artistic talent needed to create these instruments in the first place. The National Association of Manufacturers has a video showing how custom Fender guitars are made and tested by a Master Builder Apprentice.

Even though it’s a couple of years old and not very long (under 3 minutes), the glimpse into the day of a Fender guitar maker is impressive and worth viewing: Making Custom Fender Guitars.
