Using black to bring cool to life has been a well-known trick in almost every type of fashion for as long as people can remember. Clothiers understood hundreds of years ago that black is able to slim a person down if it’s worn correctly on the body. It is a completely timeless color and has done well in bringing style to a wide variety of fashions and things.

Consider a black sport watch; everybody knows that the two colors that go with everything (black and white) are opposite ends of the color spectrum. Everything else in between is just a shade or two different from those colors. Stylish, cool and very functional looking, such a watch really manages to look good no matter the wrist or the style of watch, in truth.

Truthfully, just about anybody who knows and understands how color is used realizes that black is one of those ‘must have’ colors. Think about how nice a brand-new car looks when it is decked out in a lustrous and deep black. It just seems a bit more dangerous even when it’s an economy car, and even though it might take a bit more effort to keep it clean. Certainly, movie heroes have driven black cars for decades.

Even some of the greatest rock and rollers in the world — especially those who came over during the 1960s ‘British Invasion’ — looked at the color black as the best color for a couple of their favorite guitar types. Eric Clapton has played a black Fender Stratocaster for years, proving that a black electric guitar really stands out on stage. Clapton calls his guitar ‘Blackie.’

And just as the 1990s was known for a plethora of brightly colored clothing and many different objects, it would seem that this decade has been about stylish cool, which is exemplified by wide use of the color black. Motorcyclists — even those who zoom around on brightly colored Japanese bikes — all make sure they have at least one black helmet in their collection, to use one example.

Popular music has featured a number of very memorable songs that feature that color. AC/DC’s ‘Back in Black’ is one example of a timeless rock ‘n roll classic that sounds just as good today as it did 29 years ago, when it first came out. Go shopping for anything these days and it’s a sure bet that something will be brought home that features the use of black as the dominant color.

The bottom-line about black is that it pretty much goes with everything and it goes in such a way that the image it projects is quiet cool and extreme competence in many applications. Of course, one can’t have all black in one’s life or one risks looking a little too far ‘out there, ‘ but a fair amount of black in the objects one owns can really say something.

A few years ago there is no way that anyone would have thought of younger generations hitting the dance scene it would have all been the older generations but it would seem that thanks to shows like strictly come dancing younger people are attending traditional dancing holidays.

So what are the main reasons for people going off on one of these holidays? I have to say that one of the biggest reasons is so that they can learn to dance and getting this lesson from an expert has to be the best way to do things. The only way I can see you getting better if you do not have a teacher is to hire Bruce Forsyth himself to come and show you a few tricks!

One of the main reasons that a couple will take a dancing holiday is because it will allow them to get close to their partnet. You really can spice up the love life by getting really close and intimate on the dance floor and this is because the dances that you can do are very up close. It is safe to say that when you see a couple dance together you can see they are starting to feel a lot closer.

One of the best ways to keep in shape is to go dancing and this is why so many people do it too. It is a lot of fun to do as an exercise and is not boring like the usual jogging and weight lifting. You get to do the excercise with someone rather than alone which is why it is worth doing.

There are many decent places to go to learn how to dance and they include London, Devon and Manchester so get those Torquay hotels booked and go dancing!

Most of us have seen magicians do magic either on TV or in real life. Over the last ten years magic has become incredibly popular and it could be argued that it has changed from something that a select few have knowledge of to something that anybody can learn if they so choose.

And magic is a very good skill to master. When you can do a couple of powerful and amazing magic tricks and that does not have to be difficult if you use them well, they can change your life by increasing your memorability, attractiveness and popularity. Who would not want that?

If magic was not such a great and powerful skill to have then why has every great actor in Hollywood taken the time to master a few tricks themselves?

The type of magic that everybody wants to learn at the moment is strolling magic after David Blaine stirred the world and started a craze in the ninties with his ground breaking street magic TV specials. And now, learning street magic could not be easier. Type “learn magic tricks” into a search engine and you will find a flurry of magic shops all offering products that will teach you to do professional street magic.

It would be advised that you begin by learning easy magic tricks or self-working tricks so that you can concentrate on the performance aspect rather than the technical aspect of doing magic it is far more important to master the presentational aspect and look great when you are performing. Contrary to popular belief, the secret to a trick, the technical skill, is not even half the battle.

Get out in front of audiences as soon as you can. Remember, magic is only magic when performed. It is not like music where the musician himself can appreciate it to as great a degree as an audience.

So what do people like almost as much as new music, but more than a game of Trivial Pursuit? Magic! For centuries it has puzzled us, entertained us and kept us spellbound with its apparently impossible or even supernatural tricks. A lot of skill and practice is essential to make a magic trick seem flawless, to make an illusion real, but the best magicians do it with no trouble at all.

As the audience, we know very well that we are being tricked in some way, but that’s part of the fun. Although in the past performers did claim to have supernatural powers, nowadays that’s not the case. Sleight of hand is the usual method for performing magic tricks, and we have fun trying to catch the magician out so that we can work out how the trick was done.

And still the best magicians leave us totally awestruck with their skill, leaving us completely clueless as to how they perform their illusions. The sense of bafflement is as big a part of the performance as seeing the actual magic trick.

But the reality is that learning magic tricks can be tough! It can take a lot of effort to get a trick to appear effortless. And the fact is that performing magic tricks is one thing in life you can’t fake – the audience will definitely catch on when it doesn’t work!

Unfortunately, most books or videos on the subject are filled with theory but not enough actual “real world” magic — the kind that actually entertains people! And, you practically have to be a brain surgeon to figure out the instructions.

The news isn’t all bad, though. There are some magic training books that are worth the money. For example, the author of Learn Easy Magic has collected hundreds of original magic tricks and compiled them into four amazing books!! The instructions are easy to follow, making it easy to build up your repertoire of magic tricks.

Studying to become a magician, even if it’s only to specialise in a few simple magic tricks, is a great way to entertain friends and family, as well as building your own self confidence. Info About Magic Tricks is designed to help you on your journey of discovery.
